  • Develop Your Leadership Skills in the HCCC L.E.G.O. Program

The Leadership, Education, Growth & Opportunity (L.E.G.O.) Program at Hudson County Community College provides training to develop the leadership skills that will benefit you all throughout your life.

L.E.G.O. will help you to hone your knowledge and understanding of time management, decision making, critical thinking, community service involvement, and so much more.

The L.E.G.O. Program offers three tracks for leadership opportunities:

The Emerging Leaders Track focuses on first-year students and returning students who have limited leadership training. Through a series of workshops, interactive seminars, group presentations and community projects, the participants learn to strengthen their planning, program implementation, communication and presentation skills.

The Established Leaders Track is an interactive developmental program for leaders who have successfully completed the Emerging Leaders Track as well as those students who have held an executive position in a club or organization for at least one to two years. This track assists student leaders in creating and maintaining personal and professional leadership characteristics.

The Chief Executive Officers Track focuses on polishing the skills of individuals who hold executive board positions in clubs and organizations.
