    • Welcome to the HCCC Center for Academic & Student Success Advisement & Counseling Services

    • Making decisions about your education are important to your present life ... and to your future. Our advisors are here to help you set your educational goals and to make sure you have all the information, advice and encouragement that will help you to succeed.

Our advisors will provide you with the information you need to plan your academic program and choose your major. Advising is an ongoing process that will help you to not only set goals for your education, but also for your career and your life. The process may include assessing your potential for success in a given field of study, as well as your interest in those fields. Our advisors also monitor your progress in your current studies.

We strongly recommend that you meet with an advisor as part of your registration process, and that you continue to communicate with us throughout your studies here at Hudson County Community College. And, if you experience any sort of challenge in your life, we will assist you in addressing these challenges through counseling and make a referral for you if you are in need of long-term therapy.
