News & Events at HCCC
The Hudson County Community College Communications Department channels news and information in an accurate, timely and responsible manner to the College community, the media and the Hudson County community at large.
Generating News and Understanding
The department works with various departments of the College and endeavors to increase the general public's awareness and understanding of the College, its services and programs. Press releases and media advisories are prepared and distributed to publicize events and new programs as well as special accomplishments of students, faculty and staff. Communications also uses social media, including Facebook and Twitter, to help distribute information.
All College-related media is to be handled through the Communications Department. Faculty, staff and student groups who wish to publicize a program or event are asked to contact the Communications Department as early as possible.
Members of the media may contact the HCCC Director of Communications by phoning (201) 360-4060 or by emailing communications@hccc.edu. Press releases, new and archived, may be accessed by clicking here.
