  • HCCC provides residents of Hudson County with personal enrichment and professional development opportunities through Community Education with non-credit programs. Programming is scheduled during mornings, afternoons, evenings and/or on weekends. Participants may take classes, workshops or certificate and training programs in person or online.     Personal Enrichment - Culinary Arts Courses, Creative Arts, Wellness, and Languages.

    English as a Second Language - Six levels of English integrating various skills like listening, reading, speaking, some basic math literacy and culture.

    Life-Long Learning - Ideal for seniors, these courses are open to participants of all ages, but are delivered at a leisurely pace, usually during daytime hours.

    Professional & Career Development - Designed for those seeking to enhance or update career skills; offerings include courses such as New Pathways for Teaching NJ, Certified Nursing Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Certifications in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Bookkeeping and more.

    Business & Entrepreneurship - Office Management, QuickBooks, Social Media Marketing and more.

    Computer Proficiency - Various software applications including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Computers for Beginners.

    Youth on Campus - Summer programs include career exploration programs like culinary arts, allied health careers, creative arts or computer instruction.

    Test Prep - Prepare for TOEFL or the Pre-NLN or GED.

    Online Courses - Personal, Professional and Career Training.
