      Intro to Digital Photography

This course is for anyone with or without experience in photography, interested in improving their skills in digital photography using any digital camera. (Don’t forget to bring your camera! If you don’t have one, your smartphone is OK) We will explore the concept of exposure, color balance, and composition. We will also look into shooting macro (close up) photography, landscape, still photography, portrait, and studio lighting. This course will include a field trip (on Saturday) to several famous locations in NYC, which we will use as our photography backdrop. This course is a great way of not only exploring photography but seeing famous NYC landmarks and capturing perfect images of them! The class will dismissed in NYC on Saturday. Sunday’s class will be on campus where we will focus on basic photo retouching techniques.

Please note: Students are required to pay for their own subway rides.
