    Brand Management Workshops

Broad currents of marketing have influenced some ways of life, transcended a few select brands to iconic statuses, made brand names verbs, aroused a desire to possess, and incited consumers to stand in a line for hours to purchase the next version of their mobile phone or a pair of sneakers. At HCCC, we want to bring some of the forward-thinking topics in Brand Management to better understand consumer behavior and improve on the know-why and the know-how to develop strong brands. These one-hour workshops are structured so that participants do not need to have any preconditions in marketing or management. Though each topic builds upon one another to provide a complete view into brands and branding, they are stand-alone units of instruction that participants can choose to attend either module they are interested in taking.

    Topics covered in the series:
    Creating Brand Meaning (4/16)
    Finding Brand Archetype (4/17)
    Brand Perception (4/23)

    Art of Persuasion and Negotiation

Persuasion is the oldest of human’s arts. Throughout history, it has woven its way into every facet of cultures: education, religion, family life, art and literature, modern political and commercial contexts. Psychologists and sociologists are today centering their concerns upon the attitude and opinion changes, in a never-ending effort to explain their causes and the forces that may or may not influence feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. At the same time, this course is a platform for participants to practice and experience, because it is only in conjunction with such experience that the knowledge of certain facts of approaches, methods, and tactics becomes useful and rewarding for prospective persuaders.
