    Food Business Bootcamp with Hudson Kitchen

    Learn directly from industry experts who will share the tools and strategies needed to move your food idea from concept to reality. You will also gain the expertise to develop a solid business plan and prepare to sell your culinary creations in a retail environment. Topics covered will include: Food Trends, Business Plan Basics, Food Safety, Food Product Concept Development, Food Law, Marketing Your Food Business, Pricing Your Food Product for Profitability, Food Business Operations, and Funding Your Food Business.     Infographics

    Boost your career by learning how to visually present data in a clear, effective manner. In this infographics course, students will explore approaches and concepts in technical illustration and infographics. Working with a skilled illustrator, students will learn methods for creating instructional illustrations that seamlessly communicate messages to diverse audiences.

    Self-Publishing Masterclass

    Self-publishing can prove to be both emotionally satisfying and financially lucrative. The art of bringing your ideas from conception to fruition often requires the guidance of an expert. During this workshop, you will receive the guidance needed to enter the self-publishing world. Lessons include: exploring the self-publishing landscape, budgeting, identifying your target audience, growing your social media presence, the editing process, the lure of an impressive and unique cover, and branding yourself to sell your book.

    Mastering Public Speaking

    Speaking to an audience can be very stressful and frightening. The ability to speak in public is a skill that needs to be developed and sharpened. Whether we are at a job interview for the dream job, networking, leading a short or long presentation or speaking in a classroom, communicating clearly leaves the best impression. In this class you will learn to captivate and engage your audience, cope with your nerves, deliver your message with clarity and confidence, use verbal and nonverbal communication effectively, and walk away with extra tips to break those public speaking barriers.

    The Brand of You!

    In this interactive workshop participants will learn about the values and benefits of having a professional, personal brand, including the steps to creating their own unique brand. Topics include: What a personal brand is and is not, how a personal brand affects your work life, the values that make up a personal brand, and implementing your Personal Brand for career growth and success.
