      Microsoft Office Basics

      This course will give you the basics of some of the most often used Microsoft programs available. Each week you will develop your skills in each program and learn techniques that will help you become a more productive and efficient user. Upon completion of this course, you will have gained foundational skills and come away with the confidence to complete many Microsoft Office tasks.

      Intermediate Microsoft Excel

      Many people use Excel at home or work, but many are not utilizing all its benefits. This quick course is designed to help you maximize productivity by learning some essential, intermediate Excel functions. Students will learn how to create basic formulas, group, sort, and filter data, advanced formatting, and much more.

      Microsoft Excel is a very powerful analytical tool. Learn to utilize this program’s functions and capabilities on a maximized level. Become skilled in the use of advanced features such as importing external data, advanced filters, and data tables, and validating and consolidating data.

      Live Webinar: Excel Tips & Tricks

      In this workshop, students will learn some essential Excel functions that can be useful as you work with the program daily. Some of the topics that will be covered include making AutoCorrect work for you by changing text as you type, working with multiple sheets or workbooks, easily replacing or adding text to multiple cells, protecting your workbook from unwanted access or accidental modification, and much more. The workshop is designed for users at any skill level, but a basic understanding of Excel is recommended for all attendees.

      QuickBooks Desktop Part I

      Become a QuickBooks Certified User with Hudson County Community College! This two-part national certification program benefits bookkeepers, accountants, and financial professionals by giving those with no prior QuickBooks experience a deeper understanding of this industry standard software. Prior knowledge of accounting principles required.

      In Part I, students explore the basics of QuickBooks including creating companies, working with vendors and customers, banking, and customization.
      *Students will qualify to take the certification exam after part II is completed. Book is sold separately.
