      Rock that Mic! Karaoke Workshop

      Instructor: Jillana Kucey
      Join us for a 2-hour karaoke workshop. First, we will learn about the voice and do some warm ups together. Then we will present our favorite songs in a karaoke party atmosphere. Everyone will get the opportunity to get one on one instruction to help them perform their own song better, and impress everyone at the next karaoke night!

      Before Class: Please send the youtube track of the song you intend to sing to the teacher. Set it up on your own by having a separate device to play your track on (ie, cellphone, Bluetooth speaker, tv, etc.)

      Intro to the very basics of piano. Why are there white keys versus black keys? What are the notes? How do you play? Get yourself started looking at piano from the basics. No music reading skills required.

      Kick’in it with Comics

      Instructor: Eugene Barnes
      Have you ever dreamed of becoming a standup comedian? Or just always wondered how they do what they do? Well join comedians Eugene T. Barnes (eugenetbarnes.com) and Paul Bennett (PaulBennettcomedy.com) in this fun, interactive workshop, where you'll learn basic joke structure, how to find your comedic voice, and stage presence. You'll view clips from the hottest comedians of today and legends of the past and learn to breakdown jokes line by line and see what makes them so funny...or not. Learn from Paul and Eugene who collectively have almost 20 years’ experience in standup. Watch comedy, analyze comedy...event tell some jokes of your own!!!

      Be Here Now: A discovery to create your own wellness and Joy

      Instructor: Joan Castellano
      Each day we explore wellness practices that empower us to live joy filled lives, learning how to be in the present moment and feeling worthy of abundance and happiness. When was the last time you deliberately took a deep breath and laughed with your whole body? Joan's class will incorporate various techniques and disciplines that guide us to becoming Enlightened Joy filled Warriors, so we can go out into the world empowered with positivity to shape our own lives, our communities and our families and friends. The classes change daily and incorporate present-moment awareness, powerful affirmations, mindfulness, elements of sound and music and movements from Laughter Yoga and IntenSati. Suitable for all levels of fitness and awareness. Be ready to "Be the Change" that you desire to see in the world. It starts with me, now.

      Self-Care is Soul Care . . . 4 A’s of the Heart

      Self-care encourages you to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself so that you can transmit the good feelings to others. You cannot give to others what you don't have yourself. While some may misconstrue self-care as selfish, it's far from that.

      Self-Care is Soul Care focuses on the 4 A’s of the heart (attention, appreciation, acceptance and affection) to guide you in reconnecting with the woman within, learn practical tips to implement daily, and begin to feel fulfilled. Self-care is about you exploring below the surface to start meeting the needs of the heart.

Journaling can aid you in your personal growth, establishing goals, problem solving, improving your focus and emotions, it even helps your writing skills.
