    • EOF SUMMER PROGRAM

    • What is the EOF Pre-College Summer Program?

The EOF Summer Program is an intensive pre-college preparatory academic program designed to give first-time full-time college students a head start on their college career. The goal of the summer program is to introduce initial students to the academic and social demands of college life, as well as prepare students for the transition into their Fall semester.

What are the details of the EOF Pre-College Summer Program?

The Summer Program is a FREE six week intensive program designed to provide students with the study habits and other skills needed to succeed in college. Students accepted to participate in the EOF Summer Program are enrolled in courses determined by the HCCC pre-college placement assessment. At the conclusion of the summer program, students take a post-program exam with the opportunity to advance their fall placement in these subjects.

What are the Benefits of the EOF Pre-College Summer Program?

         • FREE enrichment classes in Reading/Writing and/or Mathematics
         • FREE tutoring in these subjects

         • The opportunity to learn the campus and meet HCCC faculty and administration
         • Academic activities and workshops
Advisement and support from a personal EOF Advisor throughout the summer including individualized Fall semester class registration

How Do I Apply for the EOF Pre-College Summer Program?

Space in the Summer Program is limited. In order to be considered, students must complete the following steps:
         1. Apply and have been accepted to Hudson County Community College
         2. Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
         3. Complete and submit an EOF Program Application along with all required documentation (s).
         4. Meet the Family Income Eligibility Criteria as established by the State of New Jersey

All completed applications are reviewed by a committee who will recommend students to be interviewed for an available slot in a session of the EOF Summer Program.
