Who is here to help you?

Reference librarians are available to assist you with your research assignments. Circulation assistants will help you check out items and request audiovisual resources for use in the Library. Periodical assistants can help you find print magazines and newspapers and faculty reserves.

    What do we have?

    • Electronic databases provide academic research articles for assignments.
    • Reference books are available for use in both the Main Library and the North Hudson Center Library.
    • Print periodicals can be used in the Main Library.
    • Materials placed on faculty reserves by your instructor are located behind the circulation desk at the Main Library.
    • ESL reading materials are available at both the Main Library and the North Hudson Center Library.
    • Online periodicals, including magazines, newspapers, and journals, can be searched on computers in both Libraries, from anywhere on campus, and from home with a user's last name and CWID as login.

How will you find what you need?

To look up the resources you need, you can use infoPATH, our Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). Our staff will show you how. Our books are arranged according to the Library of Congress Classification System (LC). The Library also has many resources available online in electronic databases. You may request individual instruction on how to use the catalog and databases. Ask a reference librarian for assistance. We are here to help you.
