At Hudson County Community College, both middle school and high school students can experience a variety of engaging and enriching programs. Our unique one-, two- and three-week, hands-on programs are offered in partnership with the College’s Division of Academic Affairs, Culinary Arts Institute, Liberty Science Center, So You Sewing Design Studio, Speranza Theatre Company and Black Rocket.

Our programs emphasize self-discovery, cognitive reasoning, and cooperative thinking using a hands-on approach. Choose from any of our Culinary Arts Programs, STEM Programs (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), and SAT Test Prep classes.

See what our parents and students have to say about our programs……

“You helped to reinforce Shannon’s enthusiasm for creative baking.”

“My experience at HCCC is definitely top notch. Pleasant people and knowledgeable. They seemed genuinely to be excited to be working at HCCC and with this program.”

“My son enjoyed his time in Restaurant Possible. I was very comfortable with the level of instruction and security offered to the students. We will consider another program in the future.”

“Yes, I would recommend the program to family and friends because it helps students to build self-confidence and be independent so that they’re able to do things on their own.”

“I would definitely recommend this Summer Youth Program mainly because my child’s a pretty good judge of character, and all the instructors/assistants have won him over exceptionally (which is no easy feat); through their professionalism and sheer love of craft.”

“I enjoyed all of the programs.”

“I enjoyed doing the hands-on case study. It was fun to use everything we learned to solve the case.”
