Being named to the Dean’s List is an honor reserved for full-time students who completed 12 or more college-level credits and achieved a semester grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher, and part-time students who completed 12 or more college-level credits with a GPA of 3.5 or higher within a calendar year. Any F grade negates Dean’s List eligibility for full- and part-time students.
Students named to the HCCC Dean’s List are pursuing degrees in all of the College’s academic divisions: Business, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management; Humanities; Nursing and Health Sciences; Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); and Social Sciences.
The Hudson County Community College Division of Academic Development & Support Services offers a myriad of resources to assist students in attaining academic success and focuses on the individual needs of each student. These resources include the College’s award-winning, free tutoring services; the Writing Center; and a variety of workshops offered throughout the year.
