      HCCC Scholarships

The Hudson County Community College Foundation has been operating since 1997. The Foundation provides need-based and merit scholarships and provides funding for new and innovative student programs at HCCC. The Foundation offers a variety of scholarships to qualified applicants. Students may receive one Foundation Scholarship in a given academic year and scholarships must be used in the academic year for which they are awarded. Students receiving scholarships must be enrolled in a degree-seeking matriculated program. HCCC Foundation Scholarships are awarded to continuing HCCC students. New students may be awarded on a case-by-case basis. The application deadline for the HCCC Foundation Scholarship is August 1st. Scholarship recipients must reapply each year.

Each year, the Hudson County Executive and the Board of Chosen Freeholders award merit and need-based scholarships that provide full support for tuition and fees to students pursuing an HCCC degree on a full-time basis. Each scholarship is renewable for up to six semesters (three years) provided the applicant remains in good academic standing. HCCC government scholarships are awarded to new HCCC students. Continuing students may be awarded on a case-by-case basis. The application deadline for the HCCC Government Scholarship is August 1st. Scholarship recipients do not need to reapply each year.
