Tatiana Gaona

Taty provides leadership and direction to the Career Services office. Career Services’ mission is to support students in making informed career decisions by providing resources and opportunities to encourage career exploration, self-assessment, and career readiness.

Taty moved from Ecuador to New Jersey in 1996. She began her journey in Career Development in 2013, working at Ramapo College’s Cahill Career Development Center. Her work at Ramapo helped her realize her passion for helping students through career counseling. Prior to coming to HCCC, she also worked at The New School (NYC) and Saint Peters University (Jersey City) as an Internship Coordinator, where she cultivated relationships with employers and facilitated valuable internship placement for students. She presently serves as the Director of Career Services, providing leadership and direction to a team dedicated to fostering students’ career exploration, self-assessment, and overall career readiness.
