    • HCCC Joint-and Dual-Admissions Agreements Provide a 'Leg Up' in Obtaining a Bachelor's Degree!

    • In addition to our articulation agreements, Hudson County Community College also has agreements in position for students to gain admission to HCCC and a four-year institution at the same time (Joint Admissions) as well as those that enable students to transfer seamlessly to a four-year school (Dual Admissions).

Joint Admissions Agreements allow students who meet certain admissions criteria to be admitted to HCCC and a four-year institution at the same time! As a result of our agreements, these schools require students to complete the first two years of their studies towards a bachelor’s degree at HCCC, and guarantee that their credits will transfer with full junior status. (Students may also receive early registration privileges.)

HCCC has Joint Admissions Agreements with:

      • Fairleigh Dickinson University
      • Rutgers University
      • Saint Peter's University

Dual Admissions Agreements enable students who earn their associate’s degrees at HCCC, and who meet all terms of the agreement, to seamlessly continue work towards their bachelor’s degrees at the four-year college or university.

      Students in Dual Admissions programs:

      • Receive on-site, coordinated advisement and course-planning at HCCC
      • Transfer seamlessly to the four-year school
      • Credits must transfer with full junior status (upon graduating from HCCC and meeting the specific application criteria)
      • Must apply within the first 30 credits at HCCC

The following  colleges and universities have Dual Admissions agreements in place with HCCC:

      • Bloomfield College
      • Fairleigh Dickinson University
      • Kean University
      • Montclair State University
      • New Jersey City University
      • New Jersey Institute of Technology
      • Saint Peter's University

We’ll help make your road to a bachelor’s degree easier! The experts in our Transfer Resource Center will be happy to explain your options and assist you in deciding on a course of study that works for you!

The Transfer Resource Center is funded by a Title V Cooperative Grant and is a division of the HCCC Center for Academic and Student Success.
