Topics include various marine construction techniques, dredging, piling, dewatering, subsurface soil conditions, rock excavation, and types of marine structures. The course will also address materials like wood, timber, and reinforced concrete.
Environmental considerations, such as cleanup methods, contaminated soil, and permitting, are integral to the course, emphasizing sustainable practices in marine construction.
