Administrative Assistant
June's title may be Administrative Assistant, but in working for the College for over
15 years, her accomplishments go well beyond what the title implies. She works in
Student Services, where she helps the Dean with student conduct and discipline, manages
the student handbook updates, and coordinates the distribution and return of Chromebooks.
Although this is her first higher job in higher education, June has over 40 years
of experience working as an administrative/executive assistant in a variety of fields.
June has accomplished a lot in her time at the College. She is a first-generation
college graduate, beginning her academic journey at Hudson County Community College
in 2013 with her A.A. in Psychology. She then went to William Paterson University
and graduated in 2016 with a B.A. in Psychology. In 2020, she returned to school after
four years for her master's. She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in
2022 with her M.A. in Higher Education Administration. She also became one of three
certified Mental Health First Aid Trainers serving the College. She received a certificate
from the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) in Effective Online
Teaching.
