This year’s receptions will be held on Thursday, December 12 and Friday, December 13 at the Journal Square Campus, Culinary Conference Center, 161 Newkirk Street, Jersey City, NJ.
RSVP - Thursday, December 12 Reception | RSVP - Friday, December 13 Reception
Graduates should attend only one of the two ceremonies and can attend either day that works best for them and their guest’s availability. Graduating students of the Hudson Scholars program are encouraged to attend the reception on December 12, where they will also receive certificates and graduation cords from the Hudson Scholars program and leaders.
Formal remarks and ceremony to begin at 6:00 pm, with celebratory desserts, coffee, and tea to follow.
Each Fall 2024 graduating student may bring up to 2 guests. Guests unable to attend in person will be able to watch a live stream.
A reminder that this event does not take the place of the HCCC Commencement Ceremony, which will be held in May 2025. All Fall 2024 graduates will be invited to cross the stage in their cap and gown at this event alongside all graduates of this academic year.
We will be allowing up to 2 guests to accompany the graduate in person. Children are allowed and will count towards the 2 guests allowed.
The receptions will also be streamed virtually, so graduates can share the streaming link with their loved ones who are unable to attend in person. The event’s virtual link will be emailed to attendees at least a week prior to the event.
Keep in mind that all December graduates will also be invited and recognized at our Commencement Ceremony in May 2025, which will be held in-person at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ. Graduates will be able to bring an unlimited number of guests to the May 2025 Commencement Ceremony.
