Cecily McKeown is passionate about online education and instructional visual communication. She joined HCCC with the Center for Online Learning (COL) as an Instructional Technologist / Multimedia Specialist in March 2022.

Cecily has 15 years of experience in teaching visual communication, graphic design, web design, and interactive multimedia. Prior to joining HCCC, she served as the Graphic Design Program Coordinator at Passaic County Community College and has successfully designed and implemented a new curriculum for the college’s degree program.

Besides being a caring educator, she is also a multimedia artist. Her artwork was exhibited in ISEA, France, on the Independent Eye of Maryland Public Television and New York Digital Salon. She also gave public talks on her philosophical approach to art and was interviewed by About the Arts - a television program in Boston. In 2017, she published an illustrated eBook titled “Meditation on the Quotes of HAPPINESS” for charity.
