Director, Hudson Helps Resource Center
Katherine is the Director of Hudson Helps Resource Center. The center provides wraparound,
holistic support services to students to help them succeed in the classroom and beyond.
Katherine oversees the resource center, two food pantries (one at JSQ and one at NHC),
and the career closet. She also supervises master level social work interns from Rutgers
and Fordham.
Katherine is a first-generation college graduate who obtained her Masters in Social
Work from Rutgers University. She has worked in the social work field since 2015 and
enjoys what she does. Katherine has completed her seminar in field instruction, allowing
her to provide an educational placement at HCCC for Master-level social work students
as interns. Katherine is licensed in the state of NJ as a social worker and also works
as a part time therapist.
