Assistant Professor, Accounting

Carrie teaches accounting at HCCC.
Carrie is a Certified Public Accountant with experience in corporate and governmental
                                       accounting. She earned an MBA in Business Administration from Virginia Tech University.
                                       Prior to joining HCCC, Carrie taught graduate students at DeVry University's Keller
                                       Graduate School of Management for seven years. Currently, she teaches Financial and
                                       Managerial Accounting at HCCC, utilizing inclusive and engaging instruction to empower
                                       students for academic success. Carrie has presented nationally and earned the NISOD
                                       Excellence Award for her work with students. She holds multiple certifications, including
                                       Finance Essentials for Small Business, Online Teaching, and Bloomberg Market Concepts.
                                       Carrie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the
                                       National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity, and the New Jersey Education
                                       Association. She also serves on various committees, including the Academic Senate,
                                       Curriculum & Instruction, and All College Council
