Jay Singh serves as a Web Developer in the Advancement and Communications department at Hudson County Community College, where he designs and maintains enterprise web applications supporting the college's digital infrastructure.

In his current role, Jay has engineered a distributed, zero-trust authentication and authorization gateway serving over 5,100 active user accounts, protecting sensitive faculty and student data through Traefik middleware and OAuth2-Proxy integration with the college's Keycloak Single Sign-On system. He developed a high-performance QR code analytics platform that has processed nearly 3,000 scans across 90+ campaigns, providing real-time engagement tracking for institutional marketing initiatives.

Jay's technical contributions include implementing comprehensive observability infrastructure with Prometheus and Grafana monitoring, designing event-driven microservices using Domain-Driven Design principles, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for automated deployments. He builds and customizes reusable CMS components using JavaScript, PHP, and XSLT to support dynamic content needs across academic departments.

Prior to his current position, Jay served as an IT Support Analyst at HCCC, where he administered over 200 macOS devices using Jamf Pro and led the migration of 150+ Apple devices while coordinating a campus-wide VDI rollout across 10 locations.

Jay holds an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Hudson County Community College and is pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, with an expected graduation in May 2026.
