Professor Adamson joined the HCCC faculty in 2015. His College committee participation includes All College Council, President’s Advisory Council for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (PACDEI), and National Poetry Month. Professor Adamson is an advisor to the LGBTQIA+ Club. He was a presenter at the Faculty of the Future and Community College Showcase.

Professor Adamson also teaches at Manhattan College. Prior to his career in education, he worked as an editor, social media marketer, research assistant, and transcriber. Professor Adamson is also a successful freelance editor and writer.
