Administrative Assistant
Ms. Baiza has been serving the HCCC community for over 40 years. She is a capable, determined, confident and well-organized administrative assistant, with extensive experience in supporting and serving the students, faculty, staff and program coordinators. She is currently supporting STEM Dean Burl Yearwood.
Ms. Baiza is a highly approachable individual making her the best point of contact for those seeking information about registration, testing, curriculum and admission requirements, program evaluations and office procedures. She works with Deans, Advisors, Program Directors, Coordinators and Faculty to help students achieve their goals. Ms. Baiza is a contributing member of many search committees. She was a founding member of the All College Council, was also part of the Student Affairs and College Life Committees. Currently, she is part of the Space and Facilities Committee and the Policies and Procedures Taskforce for Academic Affairs.
Ms. Baiza began working for the English department supporting the Dean of English, Reading and Basic Math and Algebra. She then went onto to support the Dean of the English and Humanities department and eventually went to the English, Humanities and Social Sciences division. She is a graduate of HCCC receiving her associate degrees in Accounting and Management and is a graduate of St Peter’s College receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Science.
