Annie Barran is a Clinical Registered Nurse for over twelve years. In 2009 she successful obtained a Diploma in nursing from Christ Hospital school of Nursing, presently known as Hudson County Community College. In the same year she obtained an Associated Degree in Sciences from Hudson County Community College. In pursing her education in the Healthcare Field, she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 2012 at New Jersey City University. While working as a Registered Nurse in both the Medical and Psychiatric services in one of a prominent Healthcare organization in the tristate area, she demonstrated both nursing clinical and leadership skills and was recognized by her immediate supervisor, who then recommended that she further peruse her Nursing Academic career.
In 2017 she obtained a Master’s degree in Nursing Informatics from Rutgers State University which further propelled her journey as a Master prepared Clinician with the passion and commitment to make a difference in the Healthcare field. As part of her educational career path, in 2018 she was offered an Adjunct Clinical Instructor position at Hudson County Community College- Nursing. During her Adjunct assignment she was identified and recommended as a viable candidate for a full-time position as Faculty and was offer the position in 2022. She calls Hudson County Community College home because this is where it all started!
