First and foremost, Marian empowers students through personalized support. Additionally, she leads the design and implementation of student success policies. She also proactively organizes essential program orientations, coordinates celebratory events for student achievements, and leads collaborative efforts for ongoing program growth and success.
As a dedicated Student Success Coach, Marian Betancourt is committed to empowering students on their educational journeys and ensuring success within the NJRC programs. With a passion for student development and a drive for excellence, Marian spearheads the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive policies, procedures, and practices tailored to the diverse offerings of the programs, including Hot Food Proficiency, Welding, Phlebotomy, GEDWorks, and Microsoft Computer Basics. Guiding students every step of the way, Marian conducts monthly NJRC program orientations to provide essential information and guidance regarding program requirements and expectations. From enrollment to graduation, Marian coordinates and manages various events such as enrollment paper presentations, poster showcases, and graduation events, fostering a celebratory atmosphere to recognize student achievements. Student success is Marian's priority, which is why she actively engages in program promotion activities, enrollment-related events, and registration processes to ensure students have all the resources they need to thrive. Through Open House events and Student Orientation sessions, Marian aims to attract and onboard prospective students, creating a welcoming environment for all.
