Biography

Joseph is currently the Executive Director of the North Hudson Campus, where he and his team work together in helping all students achieve success.

Joseph is the Executive Director for the North Hudson Campus. He believes that all students should have equitable access to education and an opportunity to thrive. Joseph has approximately 25 years of experience in the field of education, which includes public school experience as a teacher and administrator, as well as approximately twelve years of experience in higher education serving as a Professor of English and Developmental Education, as well as an administrator. He received his Master’s Degree in Education and Reading from New Paltz University. In addition, he has a Post Master’s Certificate in Higher Education Administration from Grambling State University, and he is currently pursuing his doctorate in Higher Education Administration. Joseph has presented at many local and national conferences. He has received the Johnston Award, The NISOD Award, and the League of Innovations Award. Joseph personally believes that all students deserve the opportunity to receive a college education. In addition, he believes passionately in the transformation of education. He is honored to work with everyone at HCCC to continue to improve relationships with the entire college community and to enhance student persistence, success, and graduation rates.

Hobbies/Interests: Joseph loves traveling and attending Broadway plays.
