Biography

As Director of Academic Affairs, Kenny oversees all the academic support programming at the College, including, but not limited to, the Academic Support Services Department, which provides tutoring and academic workshops at three locations across both campuses, as well as embedded tutoring via Academic Coaches inside the classroom; the Summer and Winter Enrichment Programs; the Summer Bridge Program; and the ESL Resource Centers. Working collaboratively across departments, Kenny and his team strive to create, develop, and provide optimal student support to facilitate and enhance learning and personal growth and assist students in achieving their academic objectives.

Kenny is a higher education professional with over 10 years of experience in administration and teaching, employing a multidisciplinary approach to program development, curriculum design, and staff management and professional development. With a background in neuroscience and the humanities, he employs an interdisciplinary approach to teaching, learning, and human development, leveraging a myriad of lenses with which to assess, engage with, and reflect on the unity and evolution of knowledge across disciplines.
