Biography

Chastity serves as the leader of Continuing Education, fostering an entrepreneurial and creative approach to meet community needs by developing innovative programs that provide opportunities for personal and professional growth. In her role, Chastity oversees Continuing Education strategies and a high-achieving team of coordinators who manage a wide range of programs, which include industry-recognized career certifications, personal enrichment courses, a Summer Youth program, an English as a Second Language program, and community culinary classes.

Some of Chastity’s notable achievements include the creation of a cultural exchange education program for Au Pairs, which brings students from around the globe to study at HCCC, and the Annual Girls in Technology Symposium, which has received acclaim for its impact on middle and high school girls who aspire to enter STEM fields. Additionally, Chastity has developed a partnership framework for Continuing Education to collaborate with local entrepreneurs and industry experts to deliver impactful, financially sustainable courses and educational events. These include the Food Business Bootcamp with Hudson Kitchen, NJ Cannabis business and career fairs with Cannademix, a printing series with Guttenberg Arts, the Food and Wine Festival with Garden State Wine Growers Association, and the Food Business Entrepreneurship program with Rising Tide Capital. She also takes pride in organizing community events such as the HCCC Holiday Market to support local small businesses. As a teacher herself, Chastity is inspired by helping others break barriers to achieve professional success. She believes in the value of lifelong learning and the importance of sharing knowledge and expertise. Through her role as an instructor, Chastity teaches courses on Online Business Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing Strategies, and Critical Thinking, providing students with the skills they need to thrive in today’s ever-evolving world. In 2023, HCCC awarded Chastity the League Excellence Award for excellence in community college teaching and leadership. In 2024, Chastity received the NISOD Excellence Award for her work as Director of Continuing Education. Chastity’s commitment to professional development extends beyond her work at HCCC. She actively participates in various entrepreneurial communities and organizations, sharing insights and strategies with fellow business owners and leaders. She is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society, the Digital First Mastermind Community, and the Ossining Innovates! +WEDC Inclusive Entrepreneurship Accelerator.
