An HCCC alumna, Zakia Hmamou came to HCCC in 2015 as a part-time office assistant with the Center for Online Learning Department, and became an instructional Technologist in 2019. She has been serving as an Instructional Designer with COL since June 2021. With instructors’ expertise, she designs, develops, and revises fully online, remote, hybrid, and enhanced courses across all HCCC divisions. Zakia provides faculty training that supports best practices in instructional design and delivery and promotes instructional innovation in learning technologies that enhance teaching in online, remote, and hybrid instruction. Zakia is passionate about supporting students in online courses through better course design.
