Dr. Jones-Lewis attained both her Bachelors and Masters from the City College of New York, CUNY, and her Doctorate from Drew University, NJ.
She has taught courses within Academic Foundations, English, Humanities, and Literature. During her tenure as an active faculty member, Patricia coordinated the Writing Center for over fifteen years; she also held the positions of Coordinator of Composition I and II for a number of years, and briefly as Coordinator of Humanities. Over the years, Prof. Jones-Lewis has been both chair and active member of varied college committees, and alongside colleagues Professors Anderson and Oubraham, was deemed a pioneer of online teaching by Academic Affairs.
