Prior to teaching at HCCC, Dr. Li was a research scientist at Amco Polymers. His current research is on biodegradable polymer composites and antimicrobial polymer composites.
Dr. Li received the 2019 Excellence in Teaching Award presented by the National Society of Leadership and Success. His commitment to the College community led to recognition with the Club and Leadership Award: Advisor of the Year – 2020.
His recent scientific publications affiliated with HCCC examined whether the argon plasma “Grafting From” approach can be used for the modification of nanoparticle systems. Dr. Li holds patents on Biodegradable Diaper, Eggshell Bio-composite materials, and Wearable Aromatic Device.
