Professor Qasem has taught at several community colleges in Tennessee and New Jersey. He joined HCCC as an adjunct professor in 2012 and became a full-time instructor in 2017. He is active on the College’s General Education and the ACC-Technology committees as well as several search committees.
Professor Qasem previously worked as a Quality Control Engineer for computer manufacturing companies in Tennessee. His research thesis was about Mossbauer Spectroscopy of Meteorites.
