Assistant Director of Advisement, Data and Assessment
Elizabeth works at HCCC as an academic counselor for the Hudson Scholars program.
She meets with students on a monthly basis to collaboratively plan and problem-solve
their academic and personal goals and needs. Within the Hudson Scholars program, she
co-manages the communication plan, Airtable database, and EAB rollout.
Elizabeth started in higher education in her second semester of college through a
campus housing student organization. She worked in various campus housing positions
throughout her undergraduate experience, before getting experience in advising and
admissions in her graduate program. After graduating, she continued to work in admissions
before starting at HCCC in 2021 as one of the original advisors in the Hudson Scholars
programs. Elizabeth is currently working on earning a Certificate in Academic Advising
from Kansas State University to learn more about best practice advising strategies
and approaches.
