Kayla Sandomenico

Hi my name is Kayla Sandomenico, also known as Makayla. you may call me Mk for short. I am from Italy, where they are famous for their food, luxury cars, and their ice cream. It has been home to me and I miss the small-town feeling.  I am a current student, and this is my last year in HCCC. Hudson will forever be home.  I was a first-time student when entering HCCC. It can be an exciting and scary feeling.  My current Career is being a NASA intern and their alumni at the NCAS (NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars)  and Johnson space center. I have built a rover called CADRE and LEMUAR, with an amazing team who has gone onto the next mission within their NASA career. I was a Science Communication Specialist. Communicating what we do in NASA to the outside world. My current major is STEM ( Science and Mathematics) and will be striving to go to a 4-year college to get degrees in Astrophysics. Fingers crossed Harvard. My hobbies are playing video games, reading, writing and hosting game nights called Dungeon and Dragons. Love my roleplaying games.
