Professor Skinner joined the full-time ESL faculty in 2000, and pioneered sheltered College Composition instruction for English language learners at HCCC. A member of the College’s Achieving the Dream core group, he endorses its goal of removing barriers to student success.
Professor Skinner has presented at conferences of the New Jersey Council of County Colleges Best Practices, the National Council of Teachers of English, and the TESOL International Association.
