Hudson County Government Scholarship (HCGS)
NOTE:
Applications for the
Hudson County Government Scholarship (HCGS)
are open annually between
April 1st to August 1st
.
Guidelines and Eligibility Requirements:
First time degree seeking student
Must be a new student
Current students will be considered on a case by case basis
Must be a Hudson County resident
Must be a full-time student (registered for 12 credits or more)
Must submit a FAFSA or NJ Alternative Application for Financial Aid (if eligible)
Scholarship covers all tuition and fees which are not covered by financial aid
Must maintain a 2.75 GPA
No need to reapply once awarded
Students cannot receive more than one HCCC scholarship at a time
Scholarship cannot be applied to prior balances
HCCC Foundation Scholarship
NOTE:
Applications for the
Foundation Scholarship
are open annually between
April 1st to July 1st
.
Guidelines and Eligibility Requirements:
First time degree seeking student
Must be a current HCCC student
Must be a Hudson County resident
Must submit a FAFSA or NJ Alternative Application for Financial Aid (if eligible)
Scholarships have different values
Scholarship award will be divided equally between fall and spring terms
Scholarship covers tuition and fees which are not covered by financial aid
Must maintain a 2.75 GPA
No need to reapply once awarded
Students cannot receive more than one HCCC scholarship at a time
Scholarship cannot be applied to prior balances
