Classes: ESL: Writing, Grammar for Writing, Reading, and Academic Discussion with a focus on Level 3 Writing and Grammar for Writing.
Professor Phillips began her service at HCCC as an adjunct instructor in 1996, and achieved fulltime status in 1998. She actively participated in the development of both writing and reading assessment practices, and has worked with curriculum development in her former role as a Level Coordinator.
Professor Phillips has served on various college committees, and has continued her education in language teaching practices through attendance at conferences. She works to inform new faculty of program standards and practices though regular workshops.
