Instructor
With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, Dawn’s clinical nursing experience
extends to a variety of specialties including critical care and trauma at a large
level I trauma facility. In 2009, she graduated from a joint program with Hudson
County Community College and Bayonne Medical Center School of Nursing and was awarded
a nursing diploma and an Associate of Nursing degree with honors. She continued on
to receive a Masters of Science in Nursing Organizational Leadership with distinction
and is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in educational leadership. She is
a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, The American Association of Colleges
and Universities and American Organization for Nurse Leadership. Her journey with
HCCC began as an adjunct instructor for the nursing division in 2021, and has progressed
to a full time tenure track professor. She is committed to giving back to the community
by cultivating an inclusive learning environment that compliments students of the
newer generation.
Dawn is a nursing instructor in the practical nursing division and an instructor and
coordinator of the registered nursing weekend division.
