Message from the President

Headshot of the President of HCCC

Dear Friends,

Welcome to Hudson County Community College (HCCC)! We are delighted to share information about the exceptional and caring people, and the nationally acclaimed courses and programs, that cause our students to say, “Hudson is Home!”

Everyone at HCCC is dedicated to providing our students and community members with opportunities that improve and transform lives.  We are laser-focused on ensuring our students’ success, and have developed and implemented initiatives that provide holistic support services.

In addition to our award-winning tutoring, advisement, counseling and financial assistance services, the HCCC “Hudson Helps” program addresses needs far beyond the classroom, including transportation, food and housing insecurity, emergency financial assistance, and many others. Our HCCC family is especially proud of our diversity. HCCC students were born in 119 countries and speak 29 different languages. The College has earned national recognition for dedication to diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice. The HCCC President’s Advisory Council on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (PACDEI) consistently develops new levels of understanding and acceptance within the entire College community.

Please let us know how we can be of assistance to you in learning more about the people, courses, resources, campuses, and life-changing opportunities that are here for you at Hudson County Community College. We look forward to showing you that “Hudson is Home!”

Sincerely,

Christopher M. Reber, Ph.D.
