Public Notice of Upcoming Accreditation Review Visit by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing

January 19, 2018, Jersey City, NJ – Hudson County Community College (HCCC) will host a site review for initial accreditation of its Nursing Program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

Members of the community – as well as HCCC faculty and staff – are invited to meet the site visit team and share comments about the program at a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 2 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Nursing Program Conference Room which is located on the first floor of the College’s Joseph Cundari Center – 870 Bergen Avenue in Jersey City.

The HCCC Nursing Program provides quality courses and programs for entry-level health professionals. The College has a number of degree and certificate programs within the division and also with partnering schools, colleges, and universities. The HCCC Nursing Program prepares graduates who recognize and respect the pluralism and diversity of the cultures and faith traditions of the Hudson County community. Moreover, the values of social responsibility and community service are fostered throughout the curriculum. Students are expected to strive for high quality professionalism, act with integrity, and demonstrate responsibility and honesty.
