January 27, 2012
JERSEY CITY, N.J. / January 27, 2012 — Hudson County Community College, in adapting to the needs of the local community, announces that there is still time to register for spring 2012 term courses, and that its roster of online courses is expanding.
Distance Education courses at HCCC are designed for students who prefer to learn at home, according to their own schedules. Distance Education students get the same quality material and earn the same college credit as do students in classrooms. HCCC will offer two types of online classes — those following the standard 15-week schedule, and accelerated classes that are seven weeks long.
HCCC’s spring courses begin on Friday, Jan. 20. To register for HCCC’s online courses, you must be admitted to the College and meet any course prerequisites. In addition, students should possess basic computer skills and have access to the Internet, either from home or from HCCC’s computer labs. To start the application process, please visit https://www.hccc.edu/admissions/applyinghccc/index.html or call (201) 714-7200.
