Hudson County Community College Invites the Community to Learn How to Self-Publish

March 15, 2018, Jersey City, NJ - Hudson County Community College (HCCC) has a special opportunity for those who wish to learn how to self-publish their work.

Self-publishing can prove to be both emotionally satisfying and financially lucrative. The art of bringing your ideas from conception to fruition often requires the guidance of an expert. In this four-hour workshop, you will receive the guidance needed to enter the self-publishing world. This Masterclass includes exploring the self-publishing landscape, determining a budget, identifying your target audience and understanding how to reach them, establishing and growing your social media presence, the editing process, the lure of an impressive and unique cover, the graphic requirements of the book, You: ‘The Brand’, and selling and marketing your book.

The workshop will take place on Wednesday, May 16 and 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The class will be held in the Library Building at 71 Sip Ave., Jersey City, NJ . Space is limited, and cost is $49 per person.
