March 31, 2016, Jersey City, NJ – Hudson County Community College (HCCC) will hold a Rededication Ceremony of the Hudson County Community College Campus Store at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 7. The store is located at 162 Sip Avenue in Jersey City.
Joining HCCC President Glen Gabert, Ph.D. and members of the College’s administration, faculty and staff will be New Jersey State Senator Sandra Cunningham, and the store’s manager Eric Martin.
Dr. Gabert said the new store – which is open to the general public – is twice the size of the previous store and includes much more than books.
“In addition to textbooks, binders, planners, software and culinary uniforms and equipment, the new HCCC Campus Store carries HCCC-related apparel such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps and backpacks,” Dr. Gabert stated. “There is a large selection of general reading books, including titles for children, as well as computers, tablets, printers and headphones. We hope this will be beneficial to our neighbors in the Journal Square area since there is no general bookstore in the immediate area.”
The 4,000 square-foot Hudson County Community College Campus Store replaces the previous 2,000 square-foot store that was located at 26 Journal Square. The new site was designed by DiCara Rubino Architects and was constructed by MOLBA Construction, Inc.
The Hudson County Community College Campus Store at 162 Sip Avenue and the Bookstore at the College’s North Hudson Campus are operated and managed by the Follett Higher Education Group, Inc.
