JERSEY CITY, N.J. / May 6, 2013 - The Center for Business & Industry (CBI) at Hudson County Community College is initiating an “On the Road” series, to promote its customized workforce and staff training programs. CBI staff will travel to sites throughout Hudson County during May and June.
CBI staff will begin its tour of the County on Thursday morning, May 9 at Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey, Inc. in Harrison. From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., businesses will be able to attend a free training demonstration; network with other local employers; receive information about the New Jersey Business & Industry Association’s (NJBIA) Basic Workplace Training Skills program; and learn about CBI’s customized training plan information. The program will also include presentations by the host agency Goodwill Industries and the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce.
