Hudson County Community College Hosts an Infographics Workshop

JERSEY CITY, N.J. / May 22, 2018 – Hudson County Community College (HCCC) has a special opportunity for those who wish to learn about infographics.

The College’s Continuing Education department will hold an “Infographics” noncredit course that runs from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 18 - Wednesday, June 20. The class will be held in Room 517 of the College’s Gabert Library Building at 71 Sip Avenue in Jersey City, NJ. Space is limited. The cost is $99 per person.

The class will assist attendees in boosting their career by learning how to visually present data in a clear, effective manner. The class will explore approaches and concepts in technical illustration and infographics, and attendees will work with a skilled illustrator to learn methods for creating instructional illustrations that seamlessly communicate messages to diverse audiences.

The class will include reviewing Visual Literacy and Interpretations, Data Visualization, Audience Awareness, Psychology of Color, Methods of Analysis, Visual Design for Usability, Design Elements and Principles, and Effective Designs
