The ten-person Board of Trustees is the College’s governing body. As stewards of the College, Trustees are responsible for establishing overarching policies and direction for the College; appointment, evaluation and support of the President; and financial and compliance oversight.

Eight Trustees are chosen by the appointing body of Hudson County with the advice and consent of the County Board of Commissioners, and two Trustees are appointed by the Governor. Trustees serve until they are reappointed or replaced by the appointing authority. The College’s President serves as an ex-officio member of the Board without a vote. The College’s student body elects a representative from the graduating class to serve for one year as a non-voting member.
