HCCC Guides Students in Applying, Testing and Registering at August 22 Event

“Summer One Stop” event features waived $25 application fee, plus FREE ice cream and phone wallet.

 

August 16, 2018, Jersey City, NJ – Hudson County Community college (HCCC) will guide potential students through each step of registering for Fall classes — application, testing, and registration – and will provide free incentives.

The “Save Money, Eat Ice Cream” Summer One Stop Event will be held on Wednesday, August 22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at both the HCCC Journal Square Campus at 70 Sip Avenue in Jersey City, and the North Hudson Campus at 4800 Kennedy Boulevard in Union City. Those who register in person on that day will receive a free Mister Softee Ice Cream (11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Union City; 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. in Jersey City), and an HCCC phone wallet and stand (available while supplies last).

Attendees will learn about the application and acceptance processes. Representatives from the College’s award-winning student support services team will provide information on classes, courses, and financial assistance and help attendees navigate through each step of the application process. Those who attend the One Stop and apply to HCCC that day will have the $25 college application fee waived. Testing is available until 3 p.m.
