‘MasterChef India’ Star to Teach HCCC Gourmet Vegetarian Workshop

October 11, 2018, Jersey City, NJ – Hudson County Community College (HCCC) Department of Continuing Education offers an extraordinary opportunity to learn about creating gourmet vegetarian meals in a hands-on culinary class from a MasterChef finalist.

“MasterChef India” alumna Garima Kothari will be the instructor at the HCCC Gourmet Vegetarian workshop on Saturday, October 20, from 12 to 4 p.m. The event will be held in the kitchens of the award-winning HCCC Culinary Arts Institute at 161 Newkirk Street in Jersey City – just two blocks from the Journal Square PATH Transportation Center.

An investment banker turned baker and chef, Ms. Kothari landed in the exclusive Top 15 spot of the reality show. Subsequently, she quit her banking job, took all her savings and moved to Paris to study at Le Cordon Bleu.
