October 17, 2017, Jersey City, NJ – Hudson County Community College (HCCC) will hold an Open House on Saturday, October 21 at the College’s North Hudson Campus – 4800 Kennedy Blvd., Union City, NJ. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m.
At the HCCC Open House, there will be activities to help acquaint prospective students with the College’s two campuses, its academic programs, and the services and programs available to HCCC students. Attendees may register for 2018 Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall classes.
October 21 Open House attendees will be able to meet HCCC faculty, administrators, and students, and obtain information on the College’s degree and certificate programs, including the acclaimed STEM, Nursing, Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management, Criminal Justice, Business, and other course offerings.
Additionally, representatives from the College’s award-winning student support services team will provide information on how the team assists HCCC students in reaching their academic and career goals, and there will be tours of the North Hudson Campus.
HCCC students pay a fraction of the cost of tuition at a four-year college or university, and the College has one of the most successful financial aid and scholarship programs in New Jersey, with about 90% of HCCC students receiving assistance. Open House attendees will learn about the application and acceptance processes, and members of the Financial Aid department will assist in setting up a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) accounts. As a bonus, the $25 application fee will be waived for prospective students who attend the Open House and apply to HCCC that day.
